New Service Delivery Director for Fujitsu New Zealand

Fujitsu Australia Limited

Wellington, May 15, 2007

Fujitsu has appointed Brent White as service delivery director for its New Zealand operations. Brent, who joins Fujitsu from Telecom New Zealand (Gen-i), will be a member of the Fujitsu New Zealand senior management team with responsibility for leading and managing a services delivery team of approximately 160.

Peter McFarlane, executive general manager – infrastructure services, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand said, “With services representing an increasingly large proportion of our business in New Zealand (more than 60%) we are very pleased to have such an experienced and capable service delivery director on board.

“The service delivery director role is all encompassing, from ensuring we consistently meet customer service levels and quality obligations, to achieving financial budgets and developing our services business, in terms of people, processes and tools,” continued Peter McFarlane. “Brent’s experience working with some of the largest organisations in New Zealand, and particularly his track record in terms of staff retention and revenue growth, were deciding factors in our decision to appoint him to this role.”

Brent White, service delivery director, Fujitsu New Zealand said, “I was attracted to Fujitsu because of its commitment to recapturing its position as a tier one player in the New Zealand market and its focus on continuous improvement.”

Brent joins Fujitsu from Telecom New Zealand (Gen-i), where he was the regional head of solutions delivery for the greater Wellington region with responsibility for overall business strategy, direction and profitability. Brent was also a key member of the team responsible for the successful integration of Gen-i, Computerland and Telecom NZ’s services business under a single business model. Brent joined Gen-i in 2005 following the acquisition of his previous employer, Computerland New Zealand. Brent has more than ten years experience in the ICT industry, with previous roles including IT manager, Allfex New Zealand and solutions architect, Open Systems Solutions.
