Fujitsu ETERNUS DX8900 S4 smashes the 10 million IOPS barrier in latest storage benchmark rankings

ETERNUS DX8900 S4 becomes the first Data center Flash storage to score more than 10 million IOPS while maintaining sub-millisecond latency in the latest Storage Performance Council’s1  SPC -1 Benchmark results. It achieved an extraordinary performance of 10,001,522 Input/output Operations Per Second (IOPS), Price-Performance of 644.16 ($/SPC-1 KIOPS™) and outstanding overall response time of 0.249 milliseconds.

Powered by Non-Volatile Memory express (NVMe) for accelerated read access in Extreme cache, Fujitsu Storage ETERNUS DX8900 S4 is a purpose-built platform to consolidate storage in data centers. Data center storage consolidation helps reduce the existing storage footprint, thereby simplifying storage complexity, improving efficiencies and business agility. Higher performance headroom comes very handy while consolidating distributed data storage environments without any business performance impact.
