Fujitsu Australia announces additional year of warranty on new flagship products in an industry-first move

Sydney, July 13, 2023

Fujitsu Australia has announced, in an industry-first move, that it will extend its product warranty from three years to four years on its new flagship business LIFEBOOK Notebooks, ESPRIMO Desktops powered with the latest 13th Generation Intel® Core processors, and its next-generation PRIMERGY M7 servers.

This industry-first warranty extension lengthens the lifecycle of the product, providing customers with a better return on investment. Confident of the innovation and reliability of its products, Fujitsu is the first hardware vendor to offer an additional year warranty, strengthening its ongoing process to build trust with its customers.

Anna Soriano, Head of Portfolio, Products & Channel, at Fujitsu Australia says, “Fujitsu's purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. At Fujitsu, we pride ourselves in delivering reliable and innovative products to our customers. This product warranty extension offering is a testament to our commitment to putting our customers first. This ANZ-led initiative not only maximises the product value for our customers, but also helps reduce waste and lower the carbon footprint of our products.”

The Generation 13 LIFEBOOK notebooks feature the Intel 13th Generation Intel® Core processor as well as enhanced mobility, powerful performance, and advanced security options. Powered by the Intel Evo vPro platform, the notebooks bring together Fujitsu’s PalmSecure Technology for biometric authentication, as well as improved responsiveness, fast charging, instant wake-up, and full-size ports to remove the need for adaptors.

Powered by the latest technology and the Intel 13th Gen Intel Core processor, the Desktop ESPRIMO PCs are made for heavy duty computing needs.

Leveraging the next 4th Gen of Intel® Xeon® scalable processor platform technology, PRIMERGY M7 servers are powerful servers for even the most challenging workload. Offering powerful performance and energy efficiency on industry-standard CPU technology, the PRIMERGY M7 series provides the simplicity and cost profile needed for backbone operations as well as the power to bring affordable AI operations within reach for sustainability transformation programs.

The new LIFEBOOK models, the Desktop ESPRIMO PCs, and PRIMERGY M7 servers are available to order immediately from Fujitsu and authorised partners. Pricing varies depending on system specification and country.
