Fujitsu Australia joins NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Centre Program

News Facts:

  • Fujitsu Australia joins NVIDIA in its DGX-Ready Data Centre Program to help customers solve bigger, more complex data science problems faster with artificial intelligence (AI).
  • The NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Centre program is built on NVIDIA DGX™ systems and delivered by approved partners.
  • AI places massive demands on compute, storage, networking, and facilities, requiring a data centre provider that can accelerate AI.
  • The newly enhanced program connects customers with the best partner for their needs.
  • Fujitsu Australia was chosen for its data centre credentials, experience, and security capabilities.

Sydney, April 13, 2021 - Fujitsu Australia joins an elite panel of data centres authorised to deploy NVIDIA’s DGX AI compute infrastructure. This new technology aims to help customers leverage the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to solve complex data science problems faster, via the world’s most advanced accelerator.1

However, with increased processing speeds and compute density comes the need for significant power, something that not all data centres can provide.

Proudly, Fujitsu is one of only 19 NVIDIA-validated data centre operators globally with the data centre capabilities to support the enormous compute, storage, networking, and facility needs created by AI applications.2

Graeme Beardsell, Chief Executive Officer, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, said, “This relationship is an extension of Fujitsu’s participation in NVIDIA’s data centre program in Japan, where the Yokohama data centre hosts more than 60 units of NVIDIA DGX infrastructure. Extending this existing relationship to Australia demonstrates Fujitsu’s exceptional capability in this area. Fujitsu is pleased to be one of the few qualified data centre operators globally that can offer customers a home to run such powerful infrastructure at scale and speed.”

“AI workloads require specialised infrastructure built to enable enterprises to efficiently run AI training, inference and data science workloads,” said Sudarshan Ramachandran, Country Manager, Enterprise, NVIDIA Australia and New Zealand. “The NVIDIA DGX-Ready data centre program helps customers around the world accelerate their success by creating a simplified path to AI adoption. By joining the NVIDIA DGX-Ready program, Fujitsu Australia will be offering customers one of the best in class infrastructure and data centre solutions available in the market today.”

Fujitsu Australia was chosen to participate in the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Centre program because of its vast data centre experience, having deployed more than 100 data centres throughout the world. Its facilities are JDCC Tier 4 level, with very high security standards and robustness.
