Metal expert Ruukki and ICT service and hardware supplier Fujitsu Services Oy have expanded their Patja agreement on managed IT infrastructure services to also incorporate on-site services for Ruukki sites in Finland.
On-site support is support service, guidance and installation provided on customer site. It is typically resorted to when the helpdesk cannot solve the problem at hand remotely over the phone.
"This agreement expansion marks an extension to our fruitful collaboration that was first launched a few years back. We are aiming to standardise our operating model and to centralise our services to achieve facilitated administration and cost-efficiency," says CIO Ismo Platan of Ruukki.
The Patja services for Ruukki cover 26 countries. The Patja service agreement signed two years ago already incorporated helpdesk services, information security services and product services.
