Finland MTK and Fujitsu renew their IT partnership

The Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK) has renewed its IT partnership agreement with Fujitsu Services Oy. The Patja managed outsourcing service covers all in all 330 desktops and 20 servers. Fujitsu will also provide IT Manager services to MTK.

In addition to the availability and management services of desktop and server environment, the Patja service incorporates e-mail services and Mobile Professional with push mail services to mobile personnel. All mobile devices are covered by lifecycle and roaming services as well as virus protection services.

”The origins of our first adopting the Patja service date as far back as 1999. Thanks to our longstanding collaboration we have achieved an established situation where IT infrastructure is invisible, operating in the background  as it should be. Standardisation of workstations has also brought their functionality to a good level," says Vice Managing Director Soili Teikari of Viestilehdet Oy.

The Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK) represents an industry that uses renewable natural resources in a sustainable and economical way. MTK takes care of various interests and living conditions of farmers, forest owners, rural entrepreneurs and rural people.
