OttoPlus ATMs also allow depositing of notes.

Helsinki, huhtikuu 19, 2016 Fujitsu Finland Oy will deliver Automatia one hundred new kind of OttoPlus ATMs. By its features and looks OttoPlus is similar to the familiar Otto cash machines, but on top of that, it allows you to deposit notes. The agreement is valued at approximately three million euros.

The cash machines manufactured by NCR are equipped with a Fujitsu-implemented application. Moreover, the hardware has been tailored to comply with the Finnish security requirements and climate. The first ten OttoPlus cash machines will be installed in the greater Helsinki area and put into test use by the end of May.

”Fujitsu is our longstanding partner in providing us with hardware, applications and as servicing. Our fruitful cooperation will continue also in replacing the old Otto ATMs,” says Head of Service Production Ari Partanen of Automatia.

The network of Otto ATMs maintained by Automatia is the most important cash distribution channel in Finland. In 2015, 136 million withdrawals and more than two million deposits were made at the ATMs.

The cooperation between Automatia and Fujitsu dates back as far back as to 1995. Fujitsu is responsible for the application services and servicing of the ca. 1,300 Otto ATMs.
