Technology Support Engineers – Unix/Solaris
- Must have UNIX administration which includes Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, etc.
- Must have good Storage technology, like SAN, NAS and DAS.
- Must have hands-on experience with Veritas NetBackup and tape technology.
- Must be familiar with administration tools, like Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File System, sudo, ssh, etc.
- Must have Networking experience on TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, NIS, LDAP.
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills, both hardware and software.
- Sun Solaris and Linux certifications required.
All candidates for the above positions must have the ff. additional qualifications:
- Have strong documentation skills and expertise in handling escalated customer issues.
- Able to emulate processes and procedures specific to the customer and of ITIL® (ITIL® is a Registered Trade Mark of AXELOS Limited) framework.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Strong multi-national, multi-cultural experience and orientation.
- Customer focused.
