Technology Support Engineers – Unix/Solaris


  • Must have UNIX administration which includes Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, etc.
  • Must have good Storage technology, like SAN, NAS and DAS.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Veritas NetBackup and tape technology.
  • Must be familiar with administration tools, like Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File System, sudo, ssh, etc.
  • Must have Networking experience on TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, NIS, LDAP.
  • Must have strong troubleshooting skills, both hardware and software.
  • Sun Solaris and Linux certifications required.

All candidates for the above positions must have the ff. additional qualifications:

  • Have strong documentation skills and expertise in handling escalated customer issues.
  • Able to emulate processes and procedures specific to the customer and of ITIL® (ITIL® is a Registered Trade Mark of AXELOS Limited) framework.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong multi-national, multi-cultural experience and orientation.
  • Customer focused.
