- Regional reorganization the first step in executing global business strategy -

Fujitsu Limited

Tokyo, September 18, 2008

Fujitsu Limited announced today that it will reorganize its North American solutions operations as part of its strategy to generate growth in business outside Japan.

Beginning October 1, 2008, U.S.-based subsidiaries Fujitsu Consulting Holdings, Inc., Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation and Fujitsu Transactions Solutions Inc. will be brought together under a newly established company, Fujitsu North America Holdings, Inc. The integration of the system platform and services businesses will create new synergies to enhance Fujitsu’s solutions business in the region. The integrated organization will generate approximately $2 billion in annual revenue.

By combining infrastructure and application services, system platform and retail solutions under one organization, customers will benefit from a broad portfolio of integrated products and services, delivered through a unified and efficient business model.

Richard Christou, corporate first senior vice president, has executive responsibility for transforming and executing the Fujitsu Group’s global business strategy. The North American reorganization represents the first step in the strategy to expand the Group’s business outside Japan, with a focus on developing the global IT services business to meet increasing demand from customers. In the future, Fujitsu will continue to transform its global operations in order to optimize the Group management and business structures and achieve its consolidated business targets.
