Sunnyvale, CA, July 15, 2019

Fujitsu America, Inc. today introduces the toughest tablet in the STYLISTIC® family, the STYLISTIC Q509. With military-standard durability and water- and dust-resistant housing, this tablet is made for tough working conditions. Packing a full HD anti-glare display, integrated pen garage, enterprise security features and a high-performance battery into a single device weighing just 1.37 pounds, the STYLISTIC Q509 is the perfect match for highly mobile users in a variety of verticals such as government, public safety, healthcare, education and retail.

To maximize productivity throughout the working day, the Fujitsu Tablet STYLISTIC Q509 provides an extended battery runtime and a full range of data entry options. The 10.1-inch multi-touch IPS display supports Wacom EMR pens with 4K pressure levels, so users can simply add electronic signatures, draw sketches and handwrite digital notes. When not in use, the pen fits snugly into an integrated garage. Keeping the tablet safe from unauthorized access and data theft, the Q509’s enterprise-grade security features include an integrated fingerprint sensor and a Kensington® lock slot.

Easy conversion to a PC with keyboard dock
For comfortable and ergonomic working while in the office, the STYLISTIC Q509 transforms into a PC when attached to a keyboard dock. The keyboard dock features an integrated LAN connector and a charging port with higher charging voltage to reach 80 percent battery charge in just one hour. Compatible with other Fujitsu tablets, the STYLISTIC cradle is also common to STYLISTIC Q73x models, making it an ideal choice for hot desking environments. For mixed form factor environments, the Fujitsu USB Type-C® Dock works with both LIFEBOOK® and STYLISTIC models.

Designed with Military Standard MIL-STD-810G in mind, the STYLISTIC Q509 comes with reinforced corners and a toughened glass display to protect against knocks, spills and bumps. Thanks to a fanless design, it is also resistant to environments with a lot of dust in the air. For additional protection, Fujitsu provides an optional protective TPU cover, including a hand strap.

Heather Engen, Head of Platform Products Group, Fujitsu America, Inc. says: “Tablets have become a popular choice for on-the-go workforces in both the private and public sectors, but not all tablets are ideally suited to the task. The STYLISTIC Q509 was developed for comfortable and reliable use – even in the toughest work environments, where dust, dirt and spills are everyday risks. In addition to the rugged features packed in a light-weight form factor, the STYLISTIC Q509 delivers a beautiful anti-glare touchscreen, pen support and fingerprint security. The addition of the STYLISTIC Q509 to our Fujitsu portfolio demonstrates our continued commitment to great devices built for field force automation usage.”
