Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., the market leader in document imaging scanners and services, announced today that Network Products Guide, the industry’s leading publication on information technologies and solutions, has named the Fujitsu fi-6010N iScanner the winner of the 2009 Best Product and Services Award in Enterprise Content Management. This respected annual award honors products and services that represent the rapidly changing needs and interests in the end-users of technology worldwide. As part of the tech-industry’s leading global awards program, this year’s best products and services were nominated from all over the world.

The Fujitsu fi-6010N iScanner is built with the end-user in mind and applies across a broad spectrum of business and organizational needs, helping to increase productivity, cost efficiency (reduces the cost of legacy printing, copying, faxing, and overnight shipping, etc.), and streamline workflow. The fi-6010N iScanner is simple to use and provides enhanced security and encryption features, a web-based network control utility and an upgraded user interface to further assist collaboration across a global network. It is the only dedicated network scanner on the market to offer an optional Software Developer Kit (SDK), which enables easier integration and customization, and utilizes standards based on the Microsoft Windows development platform.

"Increased end-user awareness and ongoing advances in technology are helping shape better products and services," says Rake Narang, editor-in-chief, Network Products Guide. "The Fujitsu fi-6010N iScanner is improving business efficiency for companies of all sizes. The scanner is easy-to-use, reliable, efficient, and provides added flexibility to quickly and easily deliver electronic content across an entire network – easing the transition to paperless practices."

"When we built this scanner, we were committed to meeting our customer needs by providing them with the best product and service available on the market," said Scott Francis, senior director of product marketing, Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. "The fi-6010N iScanner has made document imaging and file sharing even more manageable for organizations. It simplifies document collaboration from the front to back office.
