- One gigabyte (GB) = one billion bytes; accessible capacity will be less and actual capacity depends on the operating environment
and formatting.
One megabyte (MB) = 1,000,000 bytes; One gigabyte (GB) = 1,000 megabytes; Gigabit (Gb) = 1,000 megabits; RPM = Revolutions Per Minute
Fujitsu raises the bar yet again with its latest 2.5” Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk drive (HDD) series. Featuring perpendicular recording technology as well as storage space of up to 300GB(1), the new Fujitsu mobile products are the first 2.5” SATA HDDs to achieve this capacity.
The rapidly expanding consumer electronics (CE) market is fueling the demand for products with increased storage capabilities. The new 300GB mobile product was designed to address this need, while still offering the reliability as well as the robust features that have made Fujitsu a technology leader in the industry.
Key specifications of the 2.5” PMR hard disk drives include best-in-class read/write power consumption at 1.6W, whisper-quiet operation, and high shock tolerance. With these benefits, the new Fujitsu mobile series is well-suited for the audio/video computing market, particularly gaming, video editing, audio recording and DVR functionality. The SATA hard disk drives are also ideal for the high-end PC market.
With the introduction of its ultra-high capacity, 2.5” perpendicular hard disk drives, Fujitsu continues to demonstrate its commitment to technology leadership and customer satisfaction.
