- Fujitsu Introduces XG2600 10-Gigabit Ethernet Solution
Foothill Ranch, CA, November 11, 2009 – Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc., a leading supplier of innovative computer products including peripherals, biometric security solutions and digital media solutions, today announced the XG2600 10Gb Ethernet switch. The XG2600 is the newest addition to the company’s family of XG Layer 2 Ethernet networking switching solutions. The 26-port XG2600 utilizes SFP+ optical modules and is designed for use with SFP+ twinax copper cables. The XG2600 reduces overall networking costs while ensuring industry-leading ultra low latency and significantly reduced power consumption. The XG2600 reduces power usage more than 30 percent to less than five watts per port.
