Fujitsu Imaging Products Group Announces Windows Vista™ Support For Its Document Scanner Line

Sunnyvale, CA, March 1, 2007 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a market leader in document imaging scanners and services, today announced its Imaging Products Group has completed the testing of its “fi” series scanner line with the new Windows Vista™ operating system. Additionally, Fujitsu will also offer Windows Vista support on its ScanSnap™ scanner models.

To give Fujitsu “fi” series scanner customers full compatibility with Windows Vista, the company will make available free drivers in April 2007. Free utilities for the ScanSnap S500 will be available in July 2007. Furthermore, ScanSnap “Windows Vista upgrade packs” for select ScanSnap models will be offered for purchase in June 2007. Bundled software and accessories to support Windows Vista will be packaged with the scanners starting in the second half of 2007.
