Fujitsu Components America, Inc.

Sunnyvale, CA, April 16, 2007 — Fujitsu Components America, Inc. today released a bi-level console drawer in a 2U configuration that provides efficient, simultaneous/continuous monitoring, operation and control for medium-to-large enterprises, data centers and server rooms.
The compact unit consists of a 1U, 17-inch SXGA (1280 x1024 @ 75Hz) LCD console drawer and a 1U keyboard and mouse drawer. Each drawer can be operated simultaneously or independently of each other to maximize work space and task efficiency. Console drawer models with an optional, built-in 8-port or 16-port Fujitsu multi-interface KVM switch are also available.
When in continuous monitoring mode, the LCD can be positioned flat against the server rack to further conserve space. Server switching buttons located on the front of the monitor drawer eliminate the need to use the keyboard drawer. When maintenance or data entry is needed, the keyboard drawer, containing a full-size, 101-key desktop keyboard and optical mouse, can be extended.
The keyboard drawer can be specified with either a PS/2 or a USB interface. The console drawer with a built-in, multi-interface KVM supports PS/2, USB, Sun USB and Sun I/O interfaces for compatibility with PCs, Sun Blade and Fire series, and Unix / IA servers.
Available immediately, pricing depends on configuration. Please see http://www.fujitsu.com/us/services/edevices/components/contact/sales/kvm.html to contact the nearest sales office for a price quote.
