Fujitsu Reports Results of Early Retirement Incentive Plan Implementation

Fujitsu today announced the results of its Early Retirement Incentive Plan implemented by Fujitsu and its wholly owned subsidiary, as announced on March 28, 2013.

1. Outline of Early Retirement Incentive Plan

a. Managerial Level of Fujitsu Group Companies in Japan

(1) Coverage: Managerial level, aged 50 and over as of June 30, 2013
(2) Number of employees: Approximately 300 (anticipated)
(3) Enrollment period: April 22, 2013 to May 17, 2013
(4) Retirement date: By June 30, 2013
(5) Support: Expand the existing work redeployment program and provide additional retirement benefits. Furthermore, offer assistance in finding new employment through employment agencies.

b. Semiconductor Business in Japan

(1) Coverage: Employees of the Fujitsu Semiconductor (FSL) Group
(2) Number of employees: Approximately 1,600 (anticipated)
(3) Enrollment period: April 17, 2013 to April 26, 2013
(4) Retirement date: June 30, 2013 (in principle)
(5) Support: Additional retirement benefits and assistance in finding new employment through employment agencies

2. Results of Early Retirement Incentive Plan Implementation

a. Managerial Level of Fujitsu Group Companies in Japan: 491 employees
b. Semiconductor Business in Japan: 1,963 employees

3. Impact on Financial Projections

The extraordinary loss incurred as a result of the implementation of the above plans has been recorded in Fujitsu Limited's consolidated financial results for fiscal 2012, ended March 31, 2013.
