Fujitsu Revamps Sales Force Structure of Its Electronic Devices Business

Tokyo, September 13, 2007

Fujitsu Limited today announced that the sales organizations of Fujitsu Limited's Electronic Devices Business Group and Fujitsu Devices Inc. will be integrated as of October 1, 2007. The combined entity, to be renamed Fujitsu Electronics Inc. ("FEI"), will consolidate the sales forces of Fujitsu's electronic devices products and will aim to become the industry leader of the market in Japan.

In addition to offering device products manufactured by Fujitsu Limited and the Fujitsu Group, FEI will also offer a comprehensive selection of products from other manufacturers. This will enable Fujitsu Limited and FEI to offer further enhanced fine-tuned service to their customers.

On May 24 of this year, Fujitsu Limited announced that it would make Fujitsu Devices Inc., the largest distributor in Japan of Fujitsu Limited's Electronic Devices Business Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary. This change was completed on August 1, 2007.

On October 1, 2007, the sales divisions of Fujitsu Limited's Electronic Devices Business Group and Fujitsu Devices Inc. will be integrated, and Fujitsu Devices will be renamed as Fujitsu Electronics Inc. (FEI). Certain engineering functions currently offered by Fujitsu Devices will be consolidated to Fujitsu Limited's Electronic Devices Group, while development functions for accommodating customer specifications will be strengthened by offering them through FEI, enabling the company to offer system solution proposals that are closely attuned to customer needs.

In addition to being fully responsible for sales and support of Fujitsu's electronic device products, FEI will also offer all of the products that had thus far been offered by Fujitsu Devices, including products from Fujitsu Group companies - such as Fujitsu Component Limited and Fujitsu Media Devices Limited - as well as those of other companies, such as flash memory from Spansion Inc.

As a result of this sales force integration, Fujitsu and FEI will strengthen solution sales capabilities and deepen communication between their sales and manufacturing front lines, thereby enabling the companies to offer their customers exceptional service as a one-stop solution provider.
