Fujitsu To Host Fujitsu Forum 2007

- Field Innovation: Converting IT-enabled Innovation into Business Value -

Fujitsu Limited today announced that it would hold Fujitsu Forum 2007, its largest annual event, on May 17 (Thursday) and 18 (Friday) at the Tokyo International Forum.

The theme of Fujitsu Forum 2007 is "Field Innovation: Converting IT-enabled Innovation into Business Value." At the event, Fujitsu will introduce its latest ideas on how field innovation can help integrate people, processes and IT in every area of management and achieve overall optimization of business processes. Fujitsu Forum 2007 will feature speeches by business leaders, academic experts, government officials and executives from Fujitsu, as well as seminars at which various know-how and real-world examples will be shared. It will also showcase cutting-edge products and solutions from Fujitsu in the categories of Frontline Business Innovation, Corporate Management Innovation, IT Infrastructure Optimization, New Generation Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Universal Design and Environmental Activities.

Keynote and Special Speeches
Fujitsu has invited business leaders from a range on industries, experts in a wide variety of fields, and executives from Fujitsu to present an array of topics, including the changing economic climate and industry trends, how management can respond flexibly to these changes, and initiatives currently underway at Fujitsu.

Solution Seminars and Special Seminars
Focusing on improvements in IT operation and internal controls, the seminars will introduce solutions, knowledge and know-how regarding issues faced on the corporate front lines. In addition, special seminars will deal with examples of IT utilization by member of the company's user group, known as the Fujitsu Family Association; environmental activities of the Fujitsu Group; and the Fujitsu Hospital Management Strategy Forum.

Exhibitions:

Frontline Business Innovation
This exhibit showcases real-world examples of the latest ubiquitous networking technologies, such as RFID tags and electronic paper, as well as mobile application technologies for linking business operations via mobile phones, advanced networking technologies and other technologies that bring innovation to the front lines of business.

Corporate Management Innovation
This exhibit introduces specific approaches and solutions based on Fujitsu's experience with a management approach focused on improving the front lines in areas such as internal controls, business continuity and information security governance.

IT Infrastructure Optimization
This exhibit features applications of IT infrastructure intended to optimize servers and storage systems as well as business forms infrastructure and improve the operational efficiency of IT systems in accordance with Fujitsu’s TRIOLE IT infrastructure optimization model.

New Generation Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
This exhibit introduces New Generation ERP solutions, based on leading ERP packages such as GLOVIA and SAP, for improving visibility of the front lines and management, as well as for overall system optimization.

Universal Design and Environmental Activities
This exhibit presents IT solutions for enriching people's lives and safeguarding the environment by minimizing burdens on the environment and making IT accessible and easy-to-use for all.
