August 26, 2009

Image of ColorAttendant

This software can examine the colors of photos taken using mobile phone cameras, and examine the various hues using an extremely simple operation. It spreads interest in coloring through learning about colors in a fun way though the built-in functions that enable the examined hues to be displayed in order of frequency. Further, this software could help children and students who are color blind to recognize hues in their everyday life.

Inspector Comments

Currently, approx. 1 in 20 children and students are said to be color blind, and so this is considered to be not just an aide, but a universal design method of use. It can also be used a a tool for teaching colors.
