Notice of Change in Name of Ferroelectric Memory to "FeRAM"
Fujitsu Semiconductor Memory Solution Limited announced that it has changed the name of the ferroelectric random access memory products provided by our company from "FRAM" to "FeRAM" since May 2022.
1. Background of the name change
The Fujitsu Group is working on various changes regarding the corporate culture, business processes and so forth, as a company-wide DX project in October since July 2020.
At our company, we are also working to reform and to improve not only efficiency of operations, but disseminating information that is easy for customers to understand. As part of this, we have decided to change the name of the ferroelectric memory products we provide from "FRAM" to the general name "FeRAM".
2. Time of change
Since May 2022, the wording of websites and documents published by our company have been gradually changing. We are afraid that it might cause the customers some confusions during a period where both old and new names are used. We would appreciate your understanding on the existence of different wordings in the time.
Our company will continue to develop and provide memory products that enhance the value of its customers' products.
