Action Plan
We have formulated an action plan as follow to promote active women participation further.
1. Planning cycle
Four years from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2024
2. Current status and issues of Fujitsu Frontech
- The proportion of female employees is low.
(As of February 2020, the proportion of women to all employees:16%) - The ratio of women in managerial positions is low, considering the ratio of women in employees.
(As of February 2020, the proportion of female manager:2%) - Training of women to be promoted to managerial positions is insufficient.
- The percentage of male employees taking childcare leave is low.
(FY2017: 0%, FY2018: 5%, FY2019: 0%) - Awareness of managers who manage employees with various restrictions is low.
3. Goals
Increase the ratio of women in newly appointed management positions to 10% and maintain it consistently above 10%.
Increase the percentage of male employees taking childcare leave to at least 15%.
4. Contents of efforts
Action1: Increase of the ratio of women in managerial positions
- Implementing training for selected women to foster future female managers
- Providing opportunities to think about careers and relations between life events and works
(Holding lectures by female managers, roundtable discussions and exchange meetings with other companies) - Conducting management training for managers to raise awareness of the importance of active women participation
Action2: Increase of the percentage of male employees taking childcare leave
- Disseminating information for the purpose of promoting awareness and use of systems related to childcare
- Holding seminars for managers to understand male employees taking childcare leave
- Implementing interviews to encourage male employees and their superiors to take childcare leave
