Action Plan

We have formulated an action plan as follow to promote active women participation further.

1. Planning cycle

Four years from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2028

2. Current status and issues of Fujitsu Frontech

  1. The proportion of women among employees is low.
    (As of January 2024, the proportion of women among employees: 16%)
  2. The proportion of women in managerial positions is low compared to the proportion of women among employees.
    (As of January 2024, the proportion of women in managerial positions: 4%)
  3. The development of women aiming for promotion to managerial positions is insufficient.
  4. The average number of days of childcare leave taken by men is shorter than that of women.

3. Goals

To achieve a proportion of women in newly appointed managerial positions of 10% or more over a four-year period.
To achieve an average of 90 days or more of childcare leave taken by men over a four-year period.

4. Initiatives

Initiative 1: Improvement of the Ratio of Female Managerial Employees

  • Implement selective training aimed at developing female managerial candidates.
  • Create opportunities to think about the relationship between life events and work, and career.
    (Implementation of lectures by female managers / roundtable discussions / exchange meetings with other companies)
  • Implement education for consciousness reform for the active participation of female employees in management training for managers.

Initiative 2: Extension of the number of days of childcare leave taken by men

  • Provide information on men's childcare leave both inside and outside the company.
  • Hold seminars for executives and all employees to understand the importance of taking childcare leave.
  • Implement interviews to encourage eligible male employees and their supervisors to take childcare leave.
