We, Fujitsu Frontech Group, who run business globally, implement broad social activities as a part of CSR inside and outside Japan, being usually aware of the aspects such as SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG.

Headquarters / Tokyo Plant

  • Joined "Talk Session with Professionals" at a junior high school (November 2021)

    Fujitsu Frontech took part in "Talk Session with Professionals" held by a junior high school in Inagi City, Tokyo, where our headquarter is located, and gave classes. The purpose of this event is to "Listening to people from various industries to develop students' motivation to work and interest in jobs".
    In classes, we explained that Fujitsu Frontech undertook "Development - Manufacturing - Sales - Maintenance/Repair" consistently, and as an example of the work, we talked about product development work for palm vein authentication sensor.

  • Clean Champaign

    We have implemented this Cleaning Campaign since FY2007. And, From FY2019 we started the clean-up around Misawa River which is flowing near the Headquarters / Tokyo Plant, as one of our actions on the issue of marine plastics waste.

Niigata Plant

  • Meisters of our company lectures at Sanjo City University (May 2023)

    Honorary Meister Kiyoei Ikarashi, Meister Katsuji Kawasaki, and Meister Mitsuhiko Aiba from our company gave a lecture at Sanjo City University (Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture) on the theme "What is Manufacturing with three Meisters?". The lecture at Sanjo City University was held for 2 consecutive years following 2022.
    This lecture was held as part of the "Tsubame Sanjo Literacy," a compulsory subject in which participants learn about the industrial structure and history of the Tsubame Sanjo area, as well as Company Visit in various industries in the area.

  • Conducted industry-academia collaboration training with Sanjo City University (September - November 2022)

    We have concluded an agreement on industry-academia collaboration with Sanjo City University (Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture). As part of this agreement, we accepted students from the university for industry-academia collaboration training at our Niigata Plant.
    The purpose of this internship is for students to go to the workplace of a company in the Tsubame Sanjo area and learn practical engineering knowledge, technology and ethics by combining hands-on and experience-based learning in the company with the learning of theory in the university.
    At our Niigata Plant, participants experienced plant quality assurance activities, lectures on product internal structures and manufacturing processes, and verification work using actual products.

  • Flower planting volunteer

    Since FY2013, we have volunteered planting flowers on the flower beds near Yoshida Kasuga-cho intersection in Tsubame-shi. Every year, about 10 employees volunteer weeding and picking flowers monthly from April to September.

  • Clean-up of Tsubame Minami Shinsui Park

    We implement weeding and cleaning in the Tsubame Minami Shinsui Park near Niigata Plant every year from 2009, with cooperation of employees and cooperative companies. About 100 persons participate in this event every time, which is very much appreciated by the local community.

  • Clean-up around the site

    We implement the clean-up for the local community around the Environmental Month every year, by picking up empty pet-bottles, cans or the like thrown away on the road around the site.

  • Sales of vegetables by a local agriculture high school

    Every year, we invite students of a local agriculture high school in the site, and hold "sales of vegetables", which were grown and harvested by them, in a bit to provide them with valuable experiences of practice for sales. Our employees look forward to this event every time, because they can purchase the delicious vegetables at reasonable prices.

Fujitsu Frontech Systems Limited (FJFS)

  • Forest preservation

    FJFS implements the forest conservation activities at the foot of Akagi Mountain with participation of President of FJFS, twice a year from FY2008, when they concluded the Agreement of Activities for Forest Conservation, etc. with Gunma Prefecture and Maebashi-shi. In January 2022, FJFS received the distinctive achievement award in environmental activities from Gunma Prefecture because this activity of long years was evaluated.

  • Clean-up around JR Maebashi Station

    About 30 employees of FJFS implement the clean-up around JR Maebashi Station for the sake of the beautification of the local community, every year.

Totalizator Engineering Limited (TEL)

  • Community vitalization based on KAWASAKI KEIRIN PARK

    TEL is entrusted with businesses of bicycle races in KAWASAKI KEIRIN by Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Under the theme of "Community vitalization based on KAWASAKI KEIRIN PARK", TEL aims to create a KEIRIN PARK which can be not only familiar to citizen, but conducive to local economy.
    West Area of KAWASAKI KEIRIN PARK has had few people before. After that, TEL installed a large screen on the area so that neighbors and bicycle race fans can enjoy a variety of citizen events, which Kawasaki-ku, shopping district in Kawasaki Station square and TEL cooperate with each other and hold. Skateboard school is also popular with citizen there.

  • Tree planting

    Every year, FDTP implements tree planting such as mangroves, together with other companies in Laguna Technopark where FDTP runs businesses, in the purpose of sustaining a rich eco-system.

  • Participation in Brigada Eskwela

    Every year, FDTP takes part in Brigada Eskwela together with other companies in Laguna Technopark where FDTP runs businesses, to implement donation of daily necessities, maintenance of school buildings and so on.
    Incidentally, Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide program of Philippines, which a variety of entities such as enterprises support the preparation toward a new semester in schools.

    FFNA implements donations for the local community, which are, for example, school goods for schools and toys for kids.

  • Tree Planting in Desert of China

    Some members of Fujitsu Frontech Labor Union volunteer participating in "Tree Planting in Desert of China", that Federation of ALL Fujitsu Worker's Unions and All-China Federation of Trade Unions co-sponsor.
    Incidentally, totally about 40 persons participate in this event every time, and plant more than 4,000 seedlings, in order to prevent the desertification from being deteriorated.

  • Participation in "World Terakoya Movement"

    Fujitsu Frontech Labor Union, as a member of Federation of ALL Fujitsu Worker's Unions, participates in "World Terakoya Movement" sponsored by National Federation of UNESCO Associations in JAPAN, to support Terakoya (means CLC: Community Learning Center) in Cambodia.
    Now, in this Terakoya, Adults and Children, who have never had opportunities to take education due to poverty situation or the like, strive to learn broad things such as reading and writing, work training, elementary study, etc. to win their further good future.

Disaster Restoration Assistance

  • Assistance for Stricken Area of Great East Japan Earthquake

    Some members of Fujitsu Frontech Labor Union volunteer taking part in "Tree Planting for Disaster Prevention of Coast in Minamisoma-shi, Fukushima Prefecture", that Federation of ALL Fujitsu Worker's Union and Fujitsu Labor Union co-sponsor.
    Incidentally, totally over 100 persons take part in this event every time, to lay woodchips down and to plant about 1,000 seedlings including black pines, or the like.

Sponsorship Activities

We, Fujitsu Frontech Group, take part in a variety of Sponsorship activities, cooperating with stakeholders such as NPOs.

  • Sponsorship of Kawasaki Frontale SDGs food drive

    Kawasaki Frontale holds food drive at every home game. Food drives are activities in which people bring unused food that cannot be consumed at home and donate it to food bank groups and local welfare facilities. The food collected at Kawasaki Frontale SDGs food drive will be distributed to local welfare facilities and people in need of food through Food Bank Kawasaki (Tama-ku, Kawasaki City).
    We have sympathized with these activities and started supporting the Kawasaki Frontale SDGs food drive since the 2023 season.

  • Sponsorship of the Japan Amputee Football Championship

    Amputee Football is football for persons having upper and lower extremity amputations. Many sports for persons having amputations use special equipment, but amputee football can be played with lofstrand crutches on which they usually use for daily life and rehabilitations. For this reason, persons having amputations can have an easy access to amputee football, and can enjoy the world-class sport.
    The Japan Amputee Football Championship has been held since 2011, and our company is a co-sponsor of the 9th championship in 2019 and the 10th championship in 2022.

  • BOOK MAGIC (Donations of Used Books, etc.)

    We collect the used books and CDs, etc. lying around in the house or office, which will not be read or listened anymore, and donate the sales to the NPO, JEN (Japan Emergency NGO), who organizes the BOOK MAGIC. The fund earned from the donated items is used to build schools in the developing countries.
    We've joined this activity since FY2014, and ever been able to donate a total of about 303,000 JPY. (As of the end of March 2024.)
    Incidentally, in FY2022, we started a scheme which enables employees to easily participate in this event by donating items directly from their homes.

  • Donations of Used Postal Stamps, etc.

    Since 2005, we have continuously collected used postal stamps and unused postal cards, etc., and donated to a foundation named "The Defense of Green Earth Foundation" once a year. The fund earned from the donated items is used to help tree-planting activities in Asia and Africa, where deforestation is very significant.

  • Donations of Ring-pulls for Wheel Chairs

    In Headquarter Branch of Fujitsu Frontech Labor Union, we collect ring-pulls of drink cans, and donate them to the NPO named "Ring-pulls Recycling Network", by participating in the activity of Fuji Electric Labor Union. Donated ring-pulls are sold for recycled resources, and the fund is used to purchase wheel chairs, which are donated to councils of social welfare, etc. in local community.

  • Delivery of Vaccines with PET-bottle Caps

    We have continuously participated in the activity of collecting PET bottle caps, that an NPO named "Re Life-style" sponsors.
    Collected caps are sold by way of the NPO, and the money is spent for vaccines to save children living in struggling countries.
    Since starting this activity in November 2015, we have been able to donate a total of 991,000 caps which are equal to vaccines of 1,985 people. (As of the end of March 2024.)
    Incidentally, Fujitsu Frontech Limited and Fujitsu Frontech Systems Limited (FJFS) received a letter of thanks from the NPO, as a result of our efforts.

  • Green Fund

    In our Niigata Plant, we have continuously implemented the fund raising every year since FY2007, to support "Green Fund" activity sponsored by a public interest incorporated association named "Niigata Green 100-year Tale Promotion Committee". We provide the employees who donated, with the seeds of bitter melons and morning glories which have grown in "green curtain", in return.
    And, Totalizator Engineering Limited (TEL), our Group company inside Japan, has continuously supported "Green Fund" sponsored by a public interest incorporated association named "National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization", since FY2002. TEL has ever donated a total of 335,575 JPY. (As of the end of March 2024.)

  • Donations of PCs, etc.

    Fujitsu Frontech Systems Limited (FJFS), in time of replacing into new PCs, not discharges old PCs but donates to welfare facilities for people with physical disabilities, etc. within Maebashi-shi, Gunma Prefecture, in the purpose of utilization of PCs in the local community.
    Incidentally, in March 2018, FJFS received a letter of thanks from Council of Social Welfare of Maebashi-shi, because of this effort. In addition, it also received letters of thanks from a total of 21 welfare facilities, because of donating 1,700 dotch files in FY2018.
