In his new role, Andy Taylor will focus on bringing deep retail and technology experience to deliver superior value to UK retailers. In particular, Andy will concentrate on services to help retailers drive growth and increase loyalty through providing customers with a personalised experience that is tailored to their needs. As well as looking at ways to drive increased value for Fujitsu’s current customers, Andy will work with the company’s existing retail team to engage with other retailers.
Richard Clarke will lead a team of retail consultants who will focus on working with retailers to develop their consumer offering and supporting processes. The team will primarily concentrate on helping retailers to realise the benefits of technology deployments and how to link them into their IT strategies.
Prior to joining Fujitsu, Andy and Richard both worked in the retail practice at Accenture. Andy has spent ten years working almost exclusively with retail clients focusing on strategy, process and technology consulting. Richard, who has worked in the retail industry for over 17 years, spent six years in the retail practice at Accenture.
Demonstrating its commitment to the retail market, Fujitsu has also launched a Retail Products Group – a team developed from internal product specialists who will focus on developing the company’s offering.
