Fujitsu announces the launch of Cloud services in Brazil

Brazilian customers will get the benefits of cost-effective and high-performance cloud based services with Fujitsu’s globally standardized & proven technology.

Fujitsu, a leading Japanese information and communication technology (ICT) company, announced today that it will launch Fujitsu Cloud services in the Brazilian market.

Fujitsu Cloud is a fully configurable on-demand IT environment with associated servicesthat allows organizations to rapidly implement agile, low cost IT environments.

Fujitsu have one of the broadest IT product and service portfolios and Fujitsu Cloud builds on these to offer clients bundled virtualized IT infrastructure, such as servers and storage functionalities, a range of software applications delivered as-a-Service and enablement and management services. These resources can be used on demand according to customers’ needs, ensuring a high level of reliability to support the deployment of companies’ mission critical.

Three of the initial services that will be brought to market in Brazil are:

Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)

IaaS is an IT environment that provides customers with easy access to on-demand compute (shared or dedicated), storage and network services. Fujitsu offers a choice of platform to consume IaaS from: private and local cloud services that are located in Brazil, plus the Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform, a trusted public cloud service — delivered via Fujitsu' s global network of data centers. Together these IaaS solutions enable customers to source configurable and virtual system services on-demand, tailored made to their specific needs.

IT Management as a Service (ITMaaS)

ITMaaS provides IT organizations with innovative IT infrastructure and application monitoring and service desk solutions on an as-a-Service basis. ITMaaS is based on the Nimsoft applications from CA Technologies, hosted on Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform. Efficient and cost-effective, ITMaaS allows quick implementation of functionally rich, easy-to-implement ITMaaS capabilities that can be universally applied to their private, public and hybrid cloud environments- as well as to their conventional IT infrastructure.

Global Enterprise Management Services for SAP

Global Enterprise Management Services for SAP provides a global industrialized model for delivering support and infrastructure services for SAP solutions hosted within Fujitsu data centers. Global Enterprise Management Services for SAP integrates four core Fujitsu capabilities: Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Global Delivery Centers, SAP solution-focused service centers and the Fujitsu Global Network. Together these capabilities, and the strong relationship with SAP AG, provide the services clients need on a global basis to boost productivity and improve return of their investment in SAP.
