Spain Lännen Tehtaat Plc joins Fujitsu's Sohva application management service
Lännen Tehtaat, an employer of some 700 people, operates in frozen foods, fish products and vegetable oil business as well as grain trading. The group is known for the Apetit brand, for example.
The Sohva project has started up by the deployment of a SAP system at Lännen Tehtaat. The system covers comprehensively the enterprise resource planning of the entire group, including procurement, production, sales, purchases, stock management and financial management. In addition, the agreement incorporates servers, which will be located at Fujitsu's data centre and included in the availability services. The SAP system has all in all some 200 users.
”The development, management and maintenance of a SAP system require a lot of expert knowledge. The Sohva application service brings flexibility and cost efficiency to our development activities. No matter which business area we happen to be developing, we have the right kind of expert to turn to. We also plan to expand our operations particularly in the northern parts of the Baltic Sea.
