Fujitsu named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes (DJSI World)

Fujitsu has been selected to two of the prestigious 2013 Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (The world's first SRI*1 indexes)-the DJSI World Index and the DJSI Asia/Pacific Index.

DJSI is the index, created by the Dow Jones and Company*2 in collaboration with Sustainable Asset Management (SAM) company, to act as investment benchmarks measuring a company's corporate sustainability by analyzing from the economic, environmental, and social aspects.

Companies ranked on the DJSI are selected from the largest 2,500 companies around the world and roughly the top 10% ranked are selected from various sectors. This year, 340 companies (20 Japanese companies including Fujitsu) were selected worldwide as corporate sustainability leaders.

We as a 'Truly Global ICT Company' will contribute to the sustainable development of society and the planet promoting business activities by 'ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance)' perspectives.

*1 SRI (Socially responsible investment):
SRI (Socially responsible investment) is a form of investment that integrates Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance criteria into analysis process and investment decisions, in addition to traditional financial considerations.

Dow Jones and Company is an American publishing and financial information firm famous for 'The Wall Street Journal' and 'Dow Jones Industrial Average'
