Community and Regional Linux

Linux is open source software that has evolved rapidly due to the development, tests, and bug fixes conducted by various volunteers in the Linux community. Fujitsu places Linux as a primary operating system for IA servers that cover a range of different needs. Fujitsu not only works with important commercial Linux distribution partners to run their Linux on PRIMERGY servers but also takes effort to support most common non-commercial Linux distributions. Support for these Linux distributions comes from the community or a wide range of Linux partners. Fujitsu has tested basic operation of such distributions and makes available integration into the Fujitsu server management suite.
