Fujitsu appoints new General Manager of Sales in Hong Kong

Hong Kong, April 11, 2019

Fujitsu Hong Kong has announced the appointment of Freddie Tang as General Manager, Sales. A veteran of the IT industry with more than 20 years of experience in Greater China especially in the sales of enterprise solutions and business services, Mr. Tang will oversee Fujitsu’s sales and go-to-market strategy in Hong Kong and Macau, including building relationships with strategic and enterprise customers, growing the customer base, developing new vertical markets, and optimizing sales functions to achieve cost effectiveness and sales efficiency.

As part of the senior management team, Mr. Tang will also play a critical role in facilitating Fujitsu’s continued transformation into a digital solutions and services provider, and solidifying Fujitsu’s leadership position as one of the top five IT services providers in Hong Kong1 .
Mr. Tang brings with him rich experience in sales as well as product and service development. Before joining Fujitsu Hong Kong, he was Sales Director at VMware Hong Kong, where he led the sales teams in Hong Kong and Macau. Prior to that, Mr. Tang held senior sales positions at various technology companies such Symantec Hong Kong, Oracle Hong Kong and HP Hong Kong.
