Fujitsu Launches New Enterprise Notebook and Convertible Laptop

Fujitsu announced the launch of 8 Fujitsu LIFEBOOK models from three product series. The new notebooks are equipped with new CPUs and other innovative features. 

The latest new offering from the thin and light-weight LIFEBOOK U9 series, the LIFEBOOK U939X, is Fujitsu’s lightest model as 13.3-inch slim convertible notebook with an internally stored stylus pen¹. Also newly available is the ultra-slim mobile notebook, LIFEBOOK U939, which weights from 795 g with high security features.

Main Features of the New Made-in-Japan Products: 

1. Slim convertible notebook LIFEBOOK U939X can be used in various configurations, according to the manner of use 

At just 16.9 mm remarkable ultra-slim design weighing from 894 g², the LIFEBOOK U939X is the new 13.3” convertible notebook from Fujitsu. Available in black and red color, the new ultra-mobile Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U939X is an ultra-light 360 degree foldable device that comes with an integrated stylus pen, providing a higher degree of mobility. 

The notebook can be used in the form suited to a given work situation, such as notebook mode when keyboard input is required for writing e-mails or creating documents, or tablet mode in which the display is rotated 360 degrees for viewing webpages or showing a customer a presentation. 

Ease of use has also been improved, with a rear camera built into the keyboard surface so that in tablet mode the user can take photos while looking at the screen, as with a smartphone, and with the new addition of the Windows Ink Workspace feature, the Quick Note Taking button enables pen input immediately upon extraction.

2. Ultra-slim mobile notebook LIFEBOOK U939, extremely easy to use, with further weight reductions 

The 13.3-inch display, ultra-slim mobile notebook LIFEBOOK U939, optimized for mobile use, weighs in at 795 grams³, is the lightest 13.3” notebook in Fujitsu LIFEBOOK family, due to the thorough application of light-weight materials. 

The model supports mobile work outside the office, with the availability of an optional custom-made privacy filter to prevent other people from spying on screen contents, and other features. 

Both LIFEBOOK U939X and U939 support the newest technologies, coming equipped with the latest 8th generation Intel® Core™ processor and two Thunderbolt™ 3 ports, capable of transmission speeds up to 40 Gb/s, plus a full set of interfaces with a full-sized HDMI and LAN connectivity that allows you to be flexible and stay productive in a hyper-connected world. 

3. Ultra-mobile LIFEBOOK U7 and modern business devices LIFEBOOK E5 Series 

Devices equipped with the 8th generation Intel® Core™ processor are newly available for the Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U7 notebook series, providing ultra-mobility and security with high serviceability at 12.5”, 14” and 15.6” display panels for users to choose from. It comes with a convertible choice of LIFEBOOK U729X, the lightweight, portable 2-in-1 with a day-long battery that supports multi-mode working styles.

Another new series goes to Fujitsu LIFEBOOK E series, available in 14” and 15.6”, the powerful and modern business devices are designed for commercial users. Thanks to the 8th generation Intel® Core™ processor and a shared port replicator concept with the LIFEBOOK U7 family, you can work efficiently wherever you are. 

The new products are fully protected by Fujitsu’s AuthConductor™ Client, the simple and reliable biometric identification through unique palm vein pattern with embedded PalmSecure® or Fingerprint sensor.
