Fujitsu makes two senior appointments for Hong Kong

Fujitsu Hong Kong has recently appointed Hisaki Asahi to the position of Chief Executive Officer, and Leo Ng to the position of General Manager, Sales and Solutions.

A veteran of the technology sector with more than 20 years of multinational experience, particularly in the IT and telecom industries in Greater China, Mr. Asahi has served in various management positions at Fujitsu. Most recently, he was the President of Fujitsu South China Technology Services Ltd., where he mainly focused on leading the development and delivery of data center and managed services. As Chief Executive Officer of Fujitsu Hong Kong, Mr. Asahi will lead the company’s overall business strategy and direction, and work with the management team to strengthen Fujitsu’s position as one of the top five IT services providers in Hong Kong in 2015(1), as ranked by IDC.

With more than 20 years of experience in the Greater China ICT industry, Leo Ng brings with him a strong background in sales and business development. Before joining Fujitsu, Mr. Ng served NetApp for four years with his last position as the General Manager of Hong Kong & Macau. He has also undertaken senior positions with various technology companies such as ATOS Hong Kong, Cisco Systems Asia Pacific & Japan and HP Hong Kong. In his new role, Mr. Ng will oversee Fujitsu Hong Kong’s sales strategy including strategic and major accounts, and channel sales development for market expansion, while increasing client satisfaction.
