A veteran of the technology sector with more than 20 years of multinational experience, particularly in the IT and telecom industries in Greater China, Mr. Asahi has served in various management positions at Fujitsu. Most recently, he was the President of Fujitsu South China Technology Services Ltd., where he mainly focused on leading the development and delivery of data center and managed services. As Chief Executive Officer of Fujitsu Hong Kong, Mr. Asahi will lead the company’s overall business strategy and direction, and work with the management team to strengthen Fujitsu’s position as one of the top five IT services providers in Hong Kong in 2015(1), as ranked by IDC.

“As the regional hub of numerous multinational corporations across a diverse range of sectors, Hong Kong presents unique and rewarding opportunities for businesses,” said Mr. Asahi. “However, business challenges are compounded by the accelerated push for digital transformation, as well as the ongoing need for scalable, resilient and cost-efficient IT services. With deep roots in Hong Kong for over 50 years, Fujitsu truly understands the challenges faced by different industries. I look forward to working with Hong Kong’s enterprises to not only build competitive advantages, but also drive sustainable business growth, by leveraging Fujitsu’s global experience and network, combined with unrivaled knowledge and capabilities in the local market, helping customers explore new business opportunities in and out of China and the Asia Pacific region.”

With more than 20 years of experience in the Greater China ICT industry, Leo Ng brings with him a strong background in sales and business development. Before joining Fujitsu, Mr. Ng served NetApp for four years with his last position as the General Manager of Hong Kong & Macau. He has also undertaken senior positions with various technology companies such as ATOS Hong Kong, Cisco Systems Asia Pacific & Japan and HP Hong Kong. In his new role, Mr. Ng will oversee Fujitsu Hong Kong’s sales strategy including strategic and major accounts, and channel sales development for market expansion, while increasing client satisfaction.

“I’m deeply honored to join Fujitsu Hong Kong in helping customers create business value with our unique offering of one-stop shop ICT solutions, whether it’s cloud and managed services, industry applications or infrastructure solutions,” said Mr. Ng. “Fujitsu has remained at the forefront of empowering enterprises with digital technology, and helping Hong Kong enterprises forge ahead towards success with customized solutions that address their distinct needs.”
