Lightest Notebook in the World* - A lighter, faster and futuristic presentation tool

Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Ltd

Hong Kong, November 19, 2001

Fujitsu's organiser-sized notebook, the lightest notebook in the world*, embodies Japanese engineering - small size, stylish design and packed with power.

Lifebook P1030

Lighter, yet stronger

Travel even lighter now with the new LifeBook P-1030, for the weight has now been reduced to approximately 880g. In addition, continual R&D efforts enabled Fujitsu to realize a chassis that is 12% slimmer than its predecessor.

Strength and durability in the LifeBook P-1030 is greatly increased as both the lid and bottom of the notebook are reinforced with magnesium alloy. This dual casing also conducts heat away faster than other notebooks, keeping it humming in cool and optimum condition.

Users are also not weighed down by their peripherals, for the notebook is both LAN and internet-ready. The AC adapter has also been miniaturized (approx. 90cc only) and looks about the size of a small handphone.

A fast and long runner

The LifeBook P-1030 is equipped with a speedy 700MHz processor from Transmeta Corporation, one of the leading names for power conserving processors. This translates to over nine hours of battery life**, significantly longer lasting than most notebooks. It is a machine most ideal for frequent air travellers who need to do work during long transatlantic flights.

New fashions for a new season

Fujitsu has given the LifeBook P-1030 a new look. Now decked in CoolSilver and futuristic blue stripes, the notebook looks space-age and more sleek than ever. A guaranteed head turner whenever you are working on it!

Look the epitome of cool when you walk into a client presentation, set down your CoolSilver LifeBook and proceed to connect it to the LCD projector. Yes, the new LifeBook P-1030 now sports a VGA-Out port for connecting to projectors and monitors. You can save more than a few movies into the ample 20GB hard disk, hook it up to a home projection system and bring laughter and entertainment to any party. Be prepared, though, for more attention on your LifeBook rather than the movie!

No need for further weight on your shoulders. The new LifeBook P-1030 is the right choice for people always on the move, who have no time to charge their batteries, and no time to pack a laptop case. Well, don't. Just walk away with our CoolSilver, organiser-sized notebook today.
