Deskside Support Engineer

Job Title Deskside Support Engineer
Responsibilities
  • Provide remote and on-site daily support services on hardware, software and network for all assigned projects
  • Provide administration support over LAN, WAN, Active Directory, DNS and application servers
  • Perform system backup and recovery, routine monitoring, health check, performance tuning and troubleshooting on the network, server and application issues
  • Conduct regular inventory, technical documentation and operational procedures update
  • Coordinate with vendors and global IT team members on projects
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • Diploma holder in Computer / Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science / Information Technology or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 4 years IT support experience & solid windows administration, implementation and support experience
  • Good communication, proactive and independent working style, demonstrating ownership and responsibility in all assignments
  • Solid experience in managing Firewall, Routers, Switches, VPN, Active Directory, MS Exchange, SharePoint, VMWare, and monitoring tools
  • Familiar with Windows XP / 7 / 10, Windows Server 2008/2012, and Linux platform
  • Knowledge in HTML, MDM, PowerShell scripting will be a plus
  • Willing to work overtime in meeting tight deadline
