IoT - Security

With the rise in connected devices, security is a hot topic. IoT based solutions need built-in security that can cover every aspect of the design. Key considerations are:

At the Edge: tamper-proof endpoints; encrypted communications; and secure gateway management.
The Platform: secure cloud foundations; authentication and authorization for data and event management functions; data encryption for when in transport and at rest; device and gateway attestation; and secure APIs and brokerage.
Analytics and Applications: leverage the inherent platform security features, for the developed applications and for the protection of insights created from the analytic algorithms.
