Fujitsu M10 Achieves World-Record Result on Two-Tier SAP SD Standard Application Benchmark

The SPARC server Fujitsu M10 set a new world-record in the two-tier SAP® Sales and Distribution (SD) standard application benchmark with 153,000 SAP SD Benchmark users.

This world-record was set by Fujitsu M10-4S running Oracle Database 11g, and surpassed the previous result of 126,063 SAP SD Benchmark users by more than 20%, set by IBM Power 795 running DB2 9.7.

Two-Tier SAP SD Benchmark Results and Configurations

1) Results of the Fujitsu M10-4S on the two-tier SAP SD standard application benchmark: 153,000 SAP SD benchmark users with SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Oracle Solaris 11 and Oracle Database 11g, 40x SPARC64 X processors (640 cores, 1,280 threads), 10240GB memory. Certification number: 2013014. Results as of May 23, 2013.

2) Results of the IBM Power 795 on the two-tier SAP SD standard application benchmark: 126,063 SAP SD benchmark users with SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0, DB2 9.7 and AIX 7.1, 32x POWER7 processors (256 cores, 1,024 threads), 4096GB memory. Certification number: 2010046. As of Nov. 15, 2010.

3) Results of the HP Integrity SD64B on the two-tier SAP SD standard application benchmark: 30,000 SAP SD benchmark users with mySAP ERP 2005, Oracle Database 10g and HP-UX 11iV3, 64x Itanium 2 9050 processors (128 cores, 256 threads), 512GB memory. Certification number: 2006089. As of Dec 18, 2006.

4) Results of the SPARC Enterprise M9000 on the two-tier SAP SD standard application benchmark: 32,000 SAP SD benchmark users with SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 (Unicode), Oracle Solaris 10 and Oracle Database 10g, 64x SPARC64 VII processors (256 cores, 512 threads), 1152GB memory. Certification number: 2009046. Results as of Nov. 18, 2009.
