Two styles of GUI-based management console Operator Panel/Remote Panel
ETERNUS LT tape libraries can be managed using either of two consoles.
1. The Large LCD touch panel makes operation easy
The built-in operator panel at the front of the device provides a large LCD touch panel GUI. This enables device setup and information provision. Functions provided include:
- Monitoring of library and drive status
- Mounting/dismounting of cartridge media
- Modification of all internal settings

2. Web-based remote management capability
Using the remote panel function enables management of information and device settings obtained from the operator panel at a remote location, via a web-based browser. Functions provided are similar to the built in operator panel and include:
- Monitoring of library and drive status
- Modification of all internal settings
- Cartridge operation
