Easy setup, management and administration through GUI/CLI

The pre-supplied Web based startup wizard, is all you need for initial installation. Ongoing changes and system expansion are then supported by equally intuitive wizard based operation. No longer will you need to spend hours poring over unfamiliar setup instructions and technical terminology.

For the more experienced operator, ETERNUS DX support a Command Line Interface (CLI). This allows the preparation of customised setup and maintentace operations. This enables users to write scripts(*Note 1) to execute repetitive operations more quickly. The command line service is available via telnet and SSH.

In addition, GUI operation is improved and "Intuitive Operability" is enabled with ETERNUS DX S2 and later. Operation becomes easy - just choose the "operation object" and "what you want to do" from the server administrator's point of view.

*Note 1: Simple programs consisting of a string of standard commands for setup and maintenance.
