Continuous system operation - Hot Standby
Traditionally, server hardware problems can lead to operational stoppages. Now through cooperation between the hot standby function of the Fujitsu GlobalServer operating system(OS) and ETERNUS disk storage systems, continuous system operation can be assured. By defining the detailed interface rules between the OS, channel and disk drives, ETERNUS disk storage systems can be switched to a standby host system with a high degree of precision.
