Fujitsu Wins 2012 SAP® Pinnacle Award

Fujitsu Australia Limited

Sydney, April 19, 2012

Fujitsu today announced it is the recipient of a 2012 SAP® Pinnacle award in the “Technology Innovator of the Year” category. The award recognizes Fujitsu’s technology partnership with SAP and further underlines Fujitsu’s commitment to widening overall availability of the powerful in-memory computing technology from SAP AG.

SAP Pinnacle awards are presented annually to the top SAP partners that have excelled in developing and growing their partnership with SAP (NYSE: SAP) and driving customer success. Winners were selected based on over 150 nominations in 22 categories received from partners and SAP employees.

The SAP Pinnacle awards recognize the leading SAP partners across a wide variety of categories, including resellers, OEMs, sustainability, technology, support, services and outsourcing. They underscore SAP’s commitment to a sound ecosystem strategy, which SAP recognizes as a key driver in delivering unmatched value to customers and enabling SAP to reach its business goals.

Business Benefits
The award recognises Fujitsu’s position as a technology innovator providing customers with an eco-system of datacenter solutions based around the SAP HANA platform. The most-recent addition to Fujitsu’s growing portfolio of solutions in support of SAP HANA was announced earlier in March: the world’s first certified, ready-to-run appliance for SAP® Business One, analytics powered by SAP HANA®.

Fujitsu and SAP have a long and successful history of collaboration to deliver innovative solutions that help streamline and enhance customers' business operations in SAP environments. Fujitsu already provides a broad choice of offerings in support of SAP HANA leaving headroom for future growth. As a total solution, Fujitsu’s end-to-end service concept supports the SAP HANA platform, helping customers meet the mission-critical operating requirements of today’s datacenters, with support for high-availability, backup and restore functionality, and dual-site disaster recovery.

SAP HANA has been designed for non-disruptive integration into SAP environments. Customers can benefit from fast implementation due to pre-installed delivery on a SAP-certified Fujitsu platform configuration to run SAP HANA. This is backed by a comprehensive service portfolio that includes integration and managed services, solution support up to business analytics consulting.

As a recipient of a 2012 SAP Pinnacle award, Fujitsu will also participate in the SAP Leadership Forum at SAPPHIRE® NOW, SAP’s international customer conference being held in Orlando, Florida, US from May 14 – 16.
