Fujitsu Launches ‘Follow the Sun’ 24x7 Global Support for PostgreSQL

Fujitsu Australia Software Technology (FAST) has today announced the extension of its global support offerings by partnering with 2ndQuadrant to offer ‘Follow the Sun’ 24x7 global remote support options for PostgreSQL.

This strategic partnership between FAST and 2ndQuadrant will significantly enhance customer support and will provide a unique level of service and a truly global solution, unlike any other production support available for PostgreSQL. With 2ndQuadrant located in the US and Europe, and FAST located in Australia, PostgreSQL support consultants can now provide cost-effective, global remote support, from their geographical areas, during their optimum ‘daylight’ efficiency period, 24x7, across the globe.

Partnering to offer world-class technical expertise to large and growing Enterprises across the world, Fujitsu and 2ndQuadrant’s new service offers one of the world’s most valuable 24 hour support offering available, giving customers minimal downtime to their production systems.

By providing ‘Follow the Sun’ PostgreSQL remote support, each organisation is able to co-operatively offer the best possible support, anywhere, anytime and at the most cost-effective rate.

Both FAST and 2ndQuadrant are strongly committed to PostgreSQL open source development, being contributors for over 15 years.
