Fujitsu, a leading provider of business, information technology and communications solutions has today announced the appointment of its new senior management team, comprising of a cabinet of Group Executive Directors including individuals from the recent acquisitions of KAZ and Supply Chain Consulting.
Mike Foster has been appointed as Group Executive Director of Sales and Business Development for Australia and New Zealand, responsible for driving the business strategy at the enterprise level and accelerating the firm’s presence as the third largest ICT Company in the Australian and New Zealand marketplace. Mike will also ensure that a seamless transition continues with the integration of recent acquisitions.
Mike joined the Fujitsu team through the merger with KAZ Pty Ltd, where Mike was CEO. Based in North Sydney, Mike will now drive Fujitsu’s business growth with the new capabilities from the recent acquisitions.

In his previous role, Mike was the CEO of KAZ and directed the Telstra Service Solutions. He joined the Telstra Corporation in March 2000 as the Managing Director, Telstra Business & Government Sales.
Prior to his nine years at Telstra, Mike served as Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand for EMC Corporation as well as the Managing Director of NCR Australia. He also spent a year with AT&T Global Information Solutions (NCR) as the company’s Pacific Group Large Systems Marketing Manager, based in San Diego, California.
Mike has held positions on the boards of Telstra New Wave Pty Ltd Board, the TelstraClear Board, the Stellar Communications Board, the AIIA Board and on the International Marketing Institute Advisory Council.
Ian Hodge has been appointed as Group Executive Director of Enterprise Solutions for Australia and New Zealand, who will assume responsibility for the operations and management of Fujitsu’s SAP practice, which has become the largest in South East Asia, comprising more than 500 SAP practitioners. Ian manages the new capabilities of Fujitsu since the acquisition of Supply Chain and the upcoming projects in the region, as part of Fujitsu’s broad-based IT services for enterprise customers.
Previously, Ian was head of Supply Chain Consulting, now a Fujitsu company, based in Sydney. For over 25 years, Ian has worked in senior management positions in the software and IT services sector in Australia, including five years with SAP where he was responsible for sales in key industries and was part of the executive team in Australia.
Ian has worked with customers who are subsidiaries of global companies, large local enterprises, and mid-market businesses who are seeking to grow. Ian understands the distinguishing motivations of senior management in these business sectors and how they apply to successful deployment of enterprise software. He holds a degree in economics and education, and an Executive MBA.
Michael Blake has been appointed Group Executive Director of Federal Government for Fujitsu Australia, responsible for driving the Fujitsu offerings with the Federal Government.
Michael has extensive experience providing large and complex IT based systems to the Federal Government that enable agencies to deliver their programs.
