Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand

Sydney, March 15, 2004

Fujitsu Australia today announced a corporate realignment aimed at strengthening its services and solutions delivery in Australasia. DMR Consulting, a Fujitsu company, will be merged with Fujitsu Australia to create a new service provider that combines world-class methodologies, consulting and application services with leading-edge IT infrastructure products and services in a single organisation. The operations of the new organisation, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, will be effective April 1st 2004.

"We'll be aggressively pursuing market share with a strong, united sales and delivery team providing business solutions across consulting, application services and infrastructure," said Rod Vawdrey, CEO, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand.

"Our combined scale and industry knowledge will provide a compelling customer-focused alternative in a competitive market. We will deliver greater business value for our customers particularly in the government, retail, financial services, transport and distribution, manufacturing, utilities and telecommunications sectors."

Neville Roach, current Chairman of Fujitsu Australia Limited, will retire from the Board effective March 31st 2004. Over the last 24 years at Fujitsu Mr Roach has been instrumental in building and reshaping Fujitsu's presence in the region, including the successful integration of ICL Pacific and Amdahl Australia into the Fujitsu family.

Alan Baxter, currently Chief Operating Officer of Fujitsu Consulting globally, has been appointed as Chairman of the Board, effective April 1st 2004.

Mr Baxter's previous appointments include Chairman of the Board of the AIIA, Deputy Chairman of the Information Economic Advisory Council to the Australian Government, and Chairman of the Skills Sub-Committee. He was also a member of the Business/Higher Education Round Table for two years and co-founder and Director of the Australian IT & Skills Task Force. Currently based in the UK, Mr Baxter will be returning to live in Australia.
