Brussels, September 05, 2019 – Today, Fujitsu is announcing the inclusion of SAP in its digital transformation offering. SAP’s Leonardo suite solutions will provide Fujitsu customers with new tools to facilitate the collection and use of data.
SAP designed Leonardo as a digital innovation system contributing to the creation and optimization of the digital environment. Composed of multiple technological solutions – IoT, Big Data, Machine Learning and Blockchain – SAP Leonardo allows to develop and run innovative data-oriented applications.

Promoting the Digital Transformation
Fujitsu, a company specialized in IT equipment and services, has integrated AI into its business units to serve its customers. In line with its digital innovation activities, this year, Fujitsu will include two SAP technological solutions based on AI in its portfolio.

The new-generation “Conversational AI” chatbot, which is based on powerful machine learning, is being added to the group’s digital services offering. It offers final customers new opportunities for maintenance and remote assistance. Fujitsu is also including SAP IRPA to facilitate the automation of repetitive tasks, such as automated invoice processing.

“This partnership is a gathering of two major players in the digital transformation,” explains Servan Eskin, Head of Digital Business Solutions Fujitsu Belgium & The Netherlands. “Fujitsu’s portfolio is being enriched with innovative and automated solutions, offering a complete range of services to final customers for the most optimized possible user experience. The collaboration between Fujitsu and SAP confirms the Japanese group’s development strategy promoting the digital transformation of companies.”

“We are thrilled that Fujitsu is enriching the different AI technologies developed in Paris by SAP in order to allow its customers to quickly integrate this essential technology into their business strategies and processes as well as to accelerate the adoption of AI in Belgium and Luxembourg by companies,” declares Yves Van Cauwenberge, Director of Platforms & Technologies, SAP Belgium and Luxembourg.

The entirety of SAP’s Leonardo portfolio will be available to Fujitsu customers starting in 2021, following a project development period that will take place next year.
