Fujitsu Belgium announces the appointment of Michael Verveckken as Managing Director

Fujitsu EMEIA

Brussels, September 10, 2019 – Fujitsu is pleased to announce the arrival of Michael Verveckken as Managing Director of Fujitsu Belgium. On September 2, Michael took over from Yves de Beauregard, who until then had combined the position of MD with the position of Head of Digital Business Solutions (DBS) for the EMEIA region. Due to the rapid growth of the digital business line such as Quantum-inspired Computing, Blockchain, AI, RPA, etc., Yves will now be able to devote himself fully to the future expansion of DBS as Head of digital solutions for Northern and Western Europe.
Michael brings almost 15 years of ICT experience to Fujitsu, with former roles in managing and leading organizations to profitable success. Michael started his career as a Business Development Manager at MedcomSoft in Canada. Since 2017 he has held the Sales Director BeLux role at DXC. His leadership positions have provided Michael with an excellent experience and a deep understanding of customer needs working closely with them to develop solutions addressing their business requests.

Michael has explicitly chosen Fujitsu because of its extensive portfolio and the quality of the solutions, products and services offered to customers. He has great confidence in the values of society and the approach of adding value to all through digital co-creation and placing the human being at the center of everything the company does.
