WA Department for Child Protection awards $10M five year support and delivery contract to Fujitsu

Fujitsu, a global technology company, today announces it has been awarded a $10M contract by the Western Australia Department for Child Protection (DCP) for the support of its mission-critical PeopleSoft CRM system.

DCP is focused on the protection of at risk children and young people. Through a distributed network of field and social workers across Western Australia, DCP provides care to these children as well as family support services. The Department is also responsible for administering adoptions and criminal records’ screening for people who work with children in the broader community.

As the Department is the only organisation of its size using the PeopleSoft CRM system in WA, a key consideration in awarding this contract was the vendor’s ability to resource large scale, application-specific support in Western Australia. The new five year contract was awarded to Fujitsu as the result of a competitive tender.

In a proven relationship spanning 10 years, Fujitsu has worked with DCP on a number of projects including development and support of the Department’s Microsoft applications.
