Fujitsu, a leading provider of business, information technology and communication solutions has today announced the release of Fujitsu’s most reputable and advanced Digital Media software, TELentice Enterprise Suite V6, to empower organisations with the ability to better communicate their corporate messages through digital signage.

This release provides a number of innovative new features and offers greater flexibility and control, higher levels of interoperability with existing systems and higher granularity in reporting structures. TELentice Enterprise Suite V6 enables businesses to develop highly tailored programs with greater reporting functionality for open accountability and the ability to drill down unit by unit auditing capabilities.

“Through Fujitsu’s TELentice software, Optus has improved its ability to showcase its range of products and services in-store with a new distributed Digital Media platform solution,” states Adam Morris, National Leasing and Retail Design Manager, Yes Optus Retail. “The TELentice system is easy to manage across Optus’ franchise distribution network and provides Optus with the flexibility to tailor our messages to our customers’ needs.”

Through this new version, customers now have the ability to create the ultimate user experience within the existing TELentice template. The TELentice player software has been designed to support multi-touch and gesture touch kiosk applications in a Windows XP embedded/pro or Windows 7 environments. Enhanced end point control enables for media synchronisation between screens in a particular location, allowing the user easily to match, synchronise or cascade content from screen to screen. The advances incorporated in Fujitsu’s TELentice Enterprise Suite V6 represent a significant move forward for this rapidly growing industry.

“TELentice is a proven platform that has been used for the last 10 years globally, states Franca Surace, General Manager Digital Media Solutions at Fujitsu. Marketers now have the ability though the TELentice Suite V6 software release to unify, control and innovate multiple types of communication touch points and channels through the one platform.”

Functionality in TELentice Player V6 now provides greater flexibility to better utilise low powered devices such as embedded players, mobile devices and to aid in wireless connections over 3G and GSM networks. The new version enables businesses to create tailored alert programs to support output to email, sms, or help desk packages. The TELentice Player furthermore has the intelligence to "Play to End" and "Point of Play Decision", which allows the operator to apply business rules to the media that can influence where, when and even if that media is played.

TELentice Enterprise Suite V6 is developed by Fujitsu Australia Software Technologies (FAST), who are the original developers of the technology since 1999. Fujitsu's in-country development and support capability provided by FAST is a key driver of the success of the product. FAST, located in Australia, is the first Fujitsu software development organisation to be located outside of Japan. FAST staff includes systems & enterprise application integrators, software designers and developers, solution architects and project managers.
