STYLISTIC Q550 to Augment Fujitsu Channel Partners’ Enterprise-Level Business Offerings in Malaysia

Fujitsu, Asia’s No.1 ICT solution provider, today announces the inclusion of its executive class tablet—“STYLISTIC Q550” as a key part of Fujitsu Malaysia’s end-to-end suite of enterprise solutions.

According to President of Fujitsu Malaysia Charles Lew, the availability of STYLISTIC Q550 enables Fujitsu channel partners to creatively bundle the Fujitsu Suite of Products as unique and highly-relevant IT solutions for their enterprise customers in the various local segments.

“STYLISTIC Q550 was designed to include all crucial working features that businesses require to accommodate their various daily operations within an extensive range of business scenarios,” says Lew.

“We see end-mobile computing as an important element in business environments today, so providing an enterprise-level mobile device in the STYLISTIC Q550 is our way to empower our SELECT Partners to better fulfill the market’s demand for secure, compatible, and tailored IT business solutions.”

In Malaysia, the STYLISTIC Q550 is ideally targeted at business usage across industries like Financial Services, Government, Retail, Telco, Manufacturing, Education and Healthcare, to perform functions requiring high mobility plus high data security.

Fujitsu SELECT Partnership Program

So far, under the Fujitsu SELECT Partner Program, Fujitsu Malaysia has recruited over 25 partners at different partnership tiers – ranging from the level of (i) Fujitsu Partner, to the higher (ii) Fujitsu SELECT Partner, and the highest rank of (iii) Fujitsu SELECT EXPERT Partner.

Currently, Fujitsu Malaysia’s network of SELECT Partners contributes a significant 60% of total sales to Fujitsu’s Platform Products.

Lew shares, “We aim to spearhead our Fujitsu SELECT Partnership program in the local market with more vigor in 2012. Specifically, Fujitsu Malaysia is looking to grow the local SELECT Partner program to a minimum of base of 30 Partners; and at the same time increase the percentage contribution by 30 per cent through the formalization of more local IT distributor partnerships.”

The STYLISTIC Q550 is expected to play a differentiated role for Fujitsu Malaysia in its strategy to grow its local SELECT Partner base for greater success.
