Fujitsu Delivers Business Centric Data Center Solutions for Point of Sale, Media Processing, as well as Telephone and Control Systems

August 05, 2014
In shops or showrooms, the new small and silent PRIMERGY TX1320 M1 disappears under the counter, while delivering scalable and highly available processing power that can be managed remotely, for example, from Head Office. This tower system can also be integrated into small telecommunication racks to deliver the ‘telephony back-end’ for small businesses or branches.

These days, many telephone systems or industrial/machine control systems rely on – often expensive – special controller cards. With the support of optional legacy Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) cards (via adapter) customers can continue to use these controller cards as part of a modernized system, based on the new PRIMERGY TX1330 M1 tower.

On the internet, for surveillance solutions, or in broadcast production and delivery scenarios, media data has to be processed for use on different devices, and to meet a wide variety of requirements for analysis and storage. The PRIMERGY RX1330 M1 rack system supports Intels pGFX Server Graphics and so speeds up media processing performance.

Pricing and availability

The FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY family of x86 cloud, rack and tower systems is available internationally via Fujitsu and distribution partners. The new systems will be orderable and generally available from August 2014. Prices vary by model and configuration.
