Notification: Fujitsu's Former President Passes Away

Tokyo, June 23, 2016

Fujitsu today announced that Naoyuki Akikusa, advisor and former Fujitsu president and chairman, passed away on June 18, 2016. The cause of death was acute heart failure. Details of the ceremony to mark his passing are as follows.

Naoyuki Akikusa:  December 12, 1938 - June 18, 2016 (77 years old)

A private funeral service has already been held. Fujitsu will hold a ceremony as follows.

Time and Date:   12:00-13:00, July 29, 2016 (Friday)

Venue:   Peacock Room, Imperial Hotel
               (1-1, Uchisaiwai-cho 1-chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Tel: +81-3-3504-1111)

Visitors should attend in normal business attire. Condolence payments, flowers, offerings, and telegrams will be declined.
