Complex Event Processing (CEP):
Also referred to as Data Stream Processing and Stream Computing. Research for this technology began in 2000, and while employed mainly in the finance industry, recently it has begun to be used in a wide range of fields for real-time analysis of sensor data and other kinds of big data.
 Throughput function of 5 million events per second:
This was achieved as an executed throughput function of a simple CEP query in a virtual machine environment in multiple PRIMERGY RX200 S6 servers. For example, in one reception over five seconds the spatial data of up to 25 million can be searched.
